France celebrates beauty, sophistication and style from elegant chateaux and grand boulevards to immaculately manicured country roads and charming villages; fairy tale castles, thousand-year-old cathedrals, and even older vineyards.
Your tour begins in the charming Paris. As soon as you arrive there, you will be greeted by your Chinese guide and bring you to walk around the city of Paris. The iconic Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées which is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and last but not least, medieval Catholic cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris are all waiting for your arrival!
You shall then venture into Montmartre where its hill rises to a height of 426 feet above the cityscape! Make your way to the hillside to explore the meandering cobblestone streets. Artists set out easels in the shaded lane behind the dome of white Sacre Coeur and capture your movement via drawings.
In the morning, the cafe tables return to the sidewalks of Paris. Your guide leads you on a tour encompasses of the greatest Chateau de Chambord and Chateau de Chenonceau. Spanning the languid Cher River atop a supremely graceful arched bridge, Chenonceau is one of France's most elegant chateaux.
Wine-lovers, the moment that you have been waiting for has finally come! The aroma of exquisite grapes and local wines from the vineyards and cellars of Bordeaux will be diffusing into your nostrils and linger around your thought. You may taste the finest Bordeaux wines from some of the prestigious wine châteaux that you have seen while touring the region.
Then, make your way to the holy Bordeaux Cathedral, Grand Theatre de Bordeaux and Place des Quinconces where the name comes from the geometric pattern that the trees are planted in - a 'quincunx', five points arranged in a cross, four forming a square and a fifth in the centre.
After breakfast at your hotel, you’ll set out for another scenic ride through the Saint Emilion which listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site because of its historical importance. Surrounded by picturesque vineyards and châteaux, this charming old village is famous for its wine appellation! Again, you will be tasting several types of wines there such as St. Emilion Appellation.
Then, indulge in “The Pink City”, Toulouse. It is the fourth largest metropolis in France and it is an animated, hectic place, nestled between a bend in the Garonne River and the mighty Canal du Midi – is invigorated by its waterways.
In the morning, you will have a chance to freshen up before setting out to Carcassonne which found at hilltop and is most people’s ideal perfect medieval castle and then proceed to the extraordinary three-tiered Pont du Gard, 21 kilometres northeast of Nîmes.
You can walk across the tiers for panoramic views over the Gard River, but the best perspective on the bridge is from downstream, along the 1.4km Memoires de Garrigue walking trail and lastly make your way to Nimes.
Today you leave behind the amazing demonstration of the precision of Roman engineering in Nimes and make your way to Avignon and visit the famous medieval bridge, Pont Saint-Benezet and many other attractions.
Proceed to Aix and its leafy boulevards and public squares are lined with 17th- and 18th-century mansions, punctuated by gurgling moss-covered fountains. Over there, you will stroll along the wide thoroughfare, Cours Mirabeau and Cathedrale Saint-Sauveur d'Aix that built on the site of the 1st century Roman forum of Aix.
At breakfast, you savour the fresh baked croissants accompanied by tart raspberry jam in your hotel. Your guide will drive you to Cannes which is famous for its international film festival and you can take tons of memorable photos.
The following destination will be Monte Carlo. It is surrounded by sapphire sea water and greens and what’s most famous there will probably be the Monte Carlo Casino and lastly proceed to Nice. With its mix of real-city grit, old-world opulence, year-round sunshine and stunning seaside location, it is a must-see for you!
On your final morning in Nice, you choose to indulge in the rich texture and buttery crusts of a chocolate croissant.
Say goodbye to Nice as your private transfer meets you at the hotel. You are escorted to the airport for your flight home. You are filled with wonderful memories of France and spend the flight planning your return.
