Itinerary

Switzerland's ravishing landscapes demand immediate action and it is all about once-in-a-lifetime journeys, heart-racing Alpine pursuits and urban culture.

Upon arrival at Zurich, you will be greeted by your Chinese guide and drive you to the fourth-largest city in Switzerland which surrounded by vineyards, rolling down a trio of hillsides to the lakeshore, Lausanne and visit the ancient Cathedral of Notre Dame.

The following ride will take you to International Committee of the Red Cross that ensure humanitarian protection and assistance for victims of war and other situations of violence and of course, the must-not-miss Flower Clock at Geneva before departing to Annecy.

While the beauty of the 6, 500 flowering plants and shrubs used for the clock face of the Flower Clock, you shall have your breakfast and followed by a tour to Annecy Rhone-Alps and Evian!

Discover the secrets of Evian water, the town’s history and its prettiest spots. Furthermore, what better than a cruise on Lake Geneva to discover Evian and admire the French and Swiss shores?

Then, you can continue to the gorgeous setting of the Lavaux wine region, home to preserved winegrowers from the 16th to the 19th centuries before making your way to Chillon Castle, made famous by a narrative poem written by Lord Byron. You shall experience the towers and courtyards that create a maze which exhibits former arms and artwork.

This morning, delight in a leisurely breakfast at your hotel and then, you will be led to the spectacular Riederalp by taking cable car up to the breath-taking Aletsch Glacier. This huge river of ice stretches over 23 kilometres from its formation in the Jungfrau region, at 4000 metres down to the Massa Gorge, around 2500 metres below, fascinates and inspires you!

Make your way down from Riederalp and begin to explore Bern. As the capital of Switzerland, Bern includes elements of its historical charm that are separate from the contemporary streets and architecture of the newer districts. You shall pay a visit to Bern Rose Garden and Old City of Bern where you can find Bern's most recognisable symbol, Zytglogge that served the city as guard tower, prison, clock tower, centre of urban life and civic memorial.

After breakfast, leave the capital streets behind and travel to Jungfrau. It is which located at 4,158 metres from sea level and acts as one of the main summits of the Bernese Alps. Over there, you will be experiencing the icy air streams across your face, snow crunches under your feet and the view will definitely takes your breath away!

Sit back as you travel through the magnificent Jungfrau region to the famous mountain resort of Grindelwald that is very famous for skiing activity. Board the cogwheel train in Grindelwald and savour the excitement as you ride up through the Swiss Alps along the Kleine Scheidegg pass, admiring the triple peaks of Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau on the way.

After enjoying in the captivating Jungfrau and Grindelwald, it’s time to proceed to Lucerne.

After breakfast, make your way to the Lion of Lucerne, a giant dying lion carved out of a wall of sandstone rock above a pond at the east end of the medieval town which designed as a memorial for the mercenary soldiers from central Switzerland!

You will then indulge in the sophisticated nature’s beauty at Lucerne Bridge. From there, you may see the Kapellbrücke aka Chapel Bridge in Lucerne that shines with the splendour of its history and lastly, depart towards Colmar.

Colmar looks for all the world as though it has been plucked from the pages of a medieval folk tale and it just so happens that Howl’s Moving Castle draws inspiration from this quaint and charming town.

In the morning, tear your gaze away from that mesmerising Gothic cathedral for just a minute and you will be roaming the old town’s twisting alleys lined with crooked half-timbered houses à la Grimm; feasting in the cosiest of Alsatian taverns by the canals in Petite France.

You will be discovering the fine tightrope between France and Germany and between a medieval past and a progressive future and you shall make your way to Nancy, one of the most elegant and classic French towns.

Again, you will proceed to Reims, known for its role in consecrating the kings of France as well as its importance to the Champagne region's sparkling wines.

Fresh air fills your lungs on arriving in the smart town of Fontainebleau. Exploring it for the rest of the day can still take the best part of a day as it is enveloped by the 200-sq-km Forêt de Fontainebleau, which is as big a playground today as it was in the 16th century, with superb walking and rock-climbing opportunities!

You will then settle into the hotel in Paris.

Paris can feel small and intimate and yet simultaneously huge and overwhelming at the same time. In the morning, you join in the Parisian spirit and indulge in the romantic city. The iconic Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe, Champs-Élysées which is an avenue in the 8th arrondissement of Paris and last but not least, medieval Catholic cathedral, Notre-Dame de Paris  and the gorgeous yet thrilling are all waiting for your arrival!

The sunlight penetrates through the glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum and into the open lobby. You wind down the stairs of the museum entrance and make your way into one of the most famous museums in the world which showcases Egyptian to Medieval artefacts.

After that, embrace the sophisticated ambiance of a candlelit dinner while floating down the calm waters of the Seine River.

Outdoor café tables fill up with locals sipping their delectable frothy cappuccinos. The day is at your leisure to enjoy the Paris of your dreams by shopping around the major shopping outlets in the city of Paris such as La Dolce Vita!
