Morning departure from Paris, coach travels towards the southeast to the home of world famous French Provence: The climate changes in the Provence region is very unusual from a charming summer to a cooling sea breeze. The rolling hills go up and down, meandering into the lively city. Most well-known is the lingering scent of lavender, thyme, pine fragrances. We stay in Avignon or nearby cities.

After breakfast, we start with a city tour of Avignon. Avignon is surrounded by ancient architecture; the Papal Palace (Palais des Papes) and Pont Saint-Benezet (the Pont d’Avignon). In the fourteenth century the Palace was built and is Europe's largest and most important medieval Gothic architecture. We walk along the walls to see the Pont d’Avignon, listed as a world cultural heritage bridge. Afternoon we continue to visit Gordes, one of the most beautiful villages in France, where many Movies Stars and Artists have made their home. Also known as "hanging village”, Gordes is perched on the southern edge of the high Plateau de Vaucluse. The stone formations built against the base of the cliffs and rocks above are made of an unique beige stone that glows orange in the morning sun.

Our next stop, the Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque is a lovely medieval Cistercian abbey, one of the best places to see Provence's famed lavender fields, founded in 1148 the peaceful abbey welcomes visitors who enjoy the lavender bloom. Overnight stay in Avignon or nearby cities. (Note: Lavender season is generally from mid-June to early August, and thus experience of the lavender fields bloom is seasonal.)

After breakfast we visit Van Gogh's famous home of Arles. Listed as key destination due to the presence of Roman ruins, the town is most famous for Van Gogh’s stay here in the local sanatorium from 1888 - 1889 where he was at his creative peak. About two hundred oil paintings, well-known master pieces such as “Bedroom in Arles” “Starry Night Over The Rhône", “Still Life: Vase with Twelve Sunflowers” were created here.

We continue by coach along the Mediterranean Sea to enter Spain where we arrive in Barcelona in the evening. Overnight stay in Barcelona or nearby cities.

After breakfast, we explore Barcelona’s city: the Columbus monument, La Rambla, followed by one of the architectural miracles built by the poet Gaudi: The Sagrada Familia. The city tour continues to the Barcelona Olympic stadium (Estadi Olimpic), venue to the 1992 Olympic games. Its hillside location guarantees a panoramic view over the entire city. In the late afternoon we visit the bustling Plaça de Catalunya, where we have leisure time to shop, taste and discover the local culture. Sit and relax at the square near the fountains; pretty by day but equally stunning at night. Overnight stay in Barcelona or nearby cities.

After breakfast we leave Barcelona to visit Andorra, this miniature country lies between France and Spain and is in the Pyrenees with a total area of 468 square km of mountain terrain at an average altitude of 1996 meters. The beautiful scenery makes it a popular European ski resort for locals and because of its tax-free status, Andorra has become a shopper’s paradise. Afternoon we travel along the Pyrenees to France where we visit the famous shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. Overnight stay in Lourdes or nearby cities.

After breakfast, we travel along the Pyrenees to France where we visit the famous shrine of Our Lady of Lourdes. Every year more than 5 million pilgrims visit Lourdes for spiritual and physical healing by the Holy Virgin. Even non-believers will find awe in the beautiful surroundings and peaceful natural landscape. In the afternoon coach departs to the French epicentre of fine wines, Bordeaux. Upon arrival, we visit Bordeaux’s World Heritage site, Place des Quinconces (The Quince Tree Square), the second largest square in Europe. The monument in the centre commemorates the Girondists who fell victim of the Reign of Terror during the French Revolution. Our itinerary continues with a visit to the famous wineries. Why not experience a tasting of Bordeaux wine or do a tour of the vineyard? Overnight stay in Bordeaux or nearby cities.

We depart after breakfast, north to the world-famous Loire Valley. The Loire is France's longest river, flowing along some 280 kilometers. Along the Loire stand magnificent and beautiful 16th century castles, each more stunning than the other. Once a holiday resort for the wealthy, "Overwhelming" was monarch François I's aim for this region. He invited artists from Italy, such as Leonardo da Vinci and others, and by commissioning their art laid the foundation for the French Renaissance. Chambord is what French people regard as their national treasurs, and was added to the World Heritage List in 1981. After we drive back to Paris arriving in the evening around 7.30 pm at our destination.
